A little about these four modalities- Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP) is often described as the study of exellence. It can help with addictions, phobias , motivation, confidence along with a whole host of other issues. It helps to understan your thought patterns and helps to "rewire" your brain so that you see things differently. Thought Field Therapy (TFT) uses a combination oftapping certain pressure points along with "tuning in " to your thoughts to alliviate addictions,phobias, guilt, depression, anxiety and a range of other conditions. Qi Gong uses ancient chinese movement and breathing exercices to balance the whole body with chi energy and therefore achieving a state of maximum health in mind and body. Hypnotherapy is the use of suggestion while you are in a meditative state that your unconsious or sub concious mind listens to without the self critical consious mind "getting in the way". There are a lot of misconceptions about hypntherapy so below are a range of F.A.Q.s to alleviate any misconceptions you might have- Will I be in control in the session? Yes ! You are in control at all times & can terminate the session anytime you want. What isHypnosis? Inhypnosiswe bpass the cosious mind to access you unconsious mind by relaxing your mind. You may have had times when you have driven somewhere & and you've been on "autopilot" and just gotten there? That was a form of self hypnosis. Do you go to sleep in hypnosis? No, you are consious throughout the session- just relaxed Can I make you do anything you don't want to do in hypnois? You will only do or say things you want to. If you are not comfortable with it you will spontaneously come out of hypnosis. Can everybody be hypnotised? The vast majority of people can be hypnotised but you do need to be open minded. Remember- you wil only do what you feel comfortable with. Will I "feel hypnotied"? Probably not! Most people just feel deeply relaxed. Hypnosis is not what a lot of people think it is.
